Knowledge is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It might sound very simple but you’ll often hear people say “knowledge is power”. When you take the time to learn about the world around you and gain in knowledge you can start to see just what God has created for us. When you learn something new you grow as a person. Think this week about how much you learn at school and what you can learn this week. Take the time to ask a question or read a book and improve your knowledge this week!

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

How can you show your knowledge today?

We end by making the Sign of the Cross.

On Thursday we will celebrate our last Multi Academy Trust Mass as part of the South Nottingham Catholic Academy Trust! Mass will take place at Corpus Christi Church on Thursday morning. If you would like to be considered as a representative of The Becket School at this event then please see Joe at lunchtime today in the Chapel! It would be great to take some people who altar serve there already who can help Fr Wilfred during Mass.

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

Our school music video this year asked the question ‘What do I know?’

Take some time to listen to the lyrics as you watch the video again.

Think about what you know and which small things you know could change the whole world!

We end with the Sign of the Cross.

Friday’s Notices

Please join us for Mass today in the Chapel at 12:15 –  you can collect a Mass Pass at break. We will be joined by students from St Patrick’s Primary School and we will be celebrating the feast of Saints John Fisher and Thomas More – familiar names for some of you who were in those Houses in primary school!

Don’t forget that today is the last day to sign up for some of the jobs Mr Marlow described in House Act of Worship this week – see your House Captain or Head of House if you are interested!

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

Listen to this week’s Gospel and then take some time to reflect on the impact of these words on your life.

Mark 4:26-34

How can your actions grow to be something more powerful?

Jesus used parables to share knowledge about God, what tools do you use to share the Good News?

We start with the Sign of the Cross.
