On Sunday we celebrated the final Sunday of Easter and World Communications Day. Although Eastertide is coming to an end, we as Christians still have the responsibility to communicate the message of Jesus’ resurrection to others. On Wednesday we celebrate the feast of St Boniface who was a missionary and made it his life’s work to communicate the Good News to people all over Europe. How will you communicate the Good News about Jesus to the people that you meet?

At The Becket we are taking steps to try to be more environmentally friendly so we can tackle climate change and create a better future for all.

You as young people have a role to play and this is demonstrated by Greta Thunberg when she communicated this message to MPs in the UK.

What methods and language does she use to communicate to her audience?

Where else do you see tools like this being used?

How could you communicate the urgent message of how to tackle climate change to others?

Help us Lord to communicate important messages so that we can all work together to a better future.

Amen.

Image result for bible storiesWe are in the final week of Eastertide, a season where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It is our job to communicate the message of the Gospel to others and today we are going to try to do this without using any words!

Using the game charades nominate people to communicate a message from the Bible to the rest of your form. You can choose a Bible story from anywhere in the Bible and you have 90 seconds to communicate it (without using any words!) to the rest of your form. See how many stories/ messages you can share during form and then let us know which ones you did in the comments box below!

Think about how you can communicate the Gospel message beyond this Eastertide season!
