We have 14 Sixth Form students going to Lourdes in July and as part of that, they are required to do some fundraising in order to help them pay for this. And boy, do they get put through their paces!

A sponsored Zumbathon took place in school and a former student came in to lead us all. Having taken part myself, it was very challenging and time seemed to go slower than it ever has before! But the laughter, teamwork and camaraderie that is shown within this group is infectious and, somehow, we all managed to get through without injury. Although there were some tired legs the next day!

This is the highest number of students that Christ the King has taken to Lourdes for a long, long time. They are a fantastic group who show care, love and support to each other and, most importantly, smile every day! If you can help them in any way by making a donation towards their pilgrimage, where they will be assisting the ill and infirm, then please contact Joe McCay (Lay Chaplain) either by email: JMcCay@christtheking.notts.sch.uk or via phone: 0115 955 6262 Ext. 156.

Thank you for your continued and valued support that you already provide for our wonderful students.
