The Lead Lay Chaplains of our Diocesan CMATs have created resources on Discipleship that are available for all schools on the themes of Vocations, Lent and Easter and Reconciliation. They are available here.

The experience of the fear and uncertainty around the Coronavirus pandemic, the isolation and social-distancing restrictions, certainly accentuates that feeling of self-denial and abstinence that is a familiar and necessary part of our Lenten observance.
Now, as we prepare for our second Lent in lockdown, we’re probably feeling a bit of self-denial fatigue. It’s easy for it to feel like we’ve ‘given up’ so much for so long already.
But I think we can still find a way to faithfully live this beautiful season of reconciliation, and to respond to the invitation to walk more closely with Christ, through suffering and into new life.
