Welcome back to school! It’s been a while since we’ve all been together, and things may have changed a bit, but we can never forget that God is always with us. Through learning we better ourselves and our relationship with God, so this week is all about that!

Don’t forget to leave a comment each day as we will be having a ‘Comment Competition!’

The form that leaves the most comments will win a prize at the end of each term.

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

As always we start our week with a short video talking a bit more about what our word of the week means and how we can apply it to our lives. Click on the video below then have a little chat with your form about the different types of learning you have done during the summer holidays and the learning you will be doing this year at Trinity.

We end by making the Sign of the Cross.

This week is all about learning.

We are constantly learning each day from our friends, family, teachers and of course through our faith.

One thing we are learning at school is our ‘School Prayer’ that was introduced last year.

We have decided to add some sign language to this and we would love you to learn the actions too.

Use the video below to practice them and see if you can learn them off by heart this week.

Every Wednesday is our Collective Worship. It’s just like being in the hall, but virtually! Play the music below whilst everyone is coming in, then press play on the video to watch the Act of Worship. Don’t forget your bible and candle at the front too!

Have a listen to this worship song called ‘Learning’ and think about the words you hear.
The words talk about us learning every day and how we can achieve anything with God’s help.
In your planner, find a small space and write down;
One thing you are excited about learning this year.
One thing you are nervous about learning this year.
One thing that you would like God to help you with this year.
Whatever you have written down, know you can achieve it with Gods help and guidance.

Every Friday we hear the Gospel passage from the previous Sunday and receive insight as to what it means, and how it relates to us and our Word of the Week. Today we have Ms McGrath reading our Gospel and explaining it to us! Let us know what your thoughts are on the scripture and its links to community in the comments below.
