In English Martyrs, we were celebrating all about Jesus being the Good Shepherd. This was a great time for us all to learn how we can follow the teachings of Jesus and look after one another.
This liturgy was helped by the brilliant Reception/Year 1 children who had earlier that morning led a liturgy for their parents. Having been there, I can tell you it was a fantastic effort by them all!
The Reception/Year 1 class brought in their prayer focus and explained each part of it to the whole school, as well as sharing the thank you prayers that they had written for the earlier liturgy. They showed lots of bravery to do that in front of the whole school!
We were all reminded that even if we can’t see God, he is our Good Shepherd and is always looking after us, we just have to have faith and believe in Him.
