This week’s word of the week is…

INDIVIDUALITY!

Sometimes it can be hard to remember how incredibly unique and wonderful God made us all, so this week we are going to spend some time looking and reflecting upon our individuality.

Robert Madu is an incredibly inspiring man, and spoke at the last CYMFED Flame event for young people, attended by over 10,000 young Catholics! Watch this video from the event, it’s all about how we are all individual and need to remember that we are made by God.

When was the last time that you sat and thought about how wonderfully God created you? What is in your lane, what did God make you to do? Let us know in the comments below!

Today Mr Holt is bringing us our Act of Worship! The song beforehand is a beautiful one that you have hopefully heard before, and talks about us being made in the image of God, and being chosen by Him.

Mr Howell has kindly agreed to lead us once again in our Remembrance Day Liturgy today. Make sure that you start this video when you hear the bell.

We start our prayer with the sign of the cross…

The Lord said to me, “I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.”

JEREMIAH 1:4-5

This bible passage reminds us that God created us all individual and unique.

Find a space in your planner and write down 5 things that make you individual and then share it with the person next to you.

Once you are done, read this prayer together as a form;

Lord, you called me,

not to be someone else,

but to be the person you created me to be.

Help me to embrace my individuality

and be proud of who I am.

Amen
