Welcome to the last week before we break up for the summer holidays!

We did it!

Let us start our prayer by making the Sign of the Cross.

All: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Take a look for these children singing the song ‘Memories’ by Maroon 5.

They recorded it during the first Lockdown to remind them of all the memories they had shared that year.

Whilst you watch it, think back over this school year. There have been ups and downs for all of us, but through the good and the bad God has been with us every step of the way.

After you have watched the clip, reflect on the question below with your form.

Discuss and Comment below! :

What have been your favourite memories from the academic year?

Share them with each other.

Let us Pray together:

God of wisdom,
We thank you
for all the memories you have given us throughout this school year.
We praise you for giving us life,
for saving us in Christ,
and for choosing us to be your people.
As we come to the end of this school year, we say thank you
for all the great things we have achieved, and we praise you for all the special people within our school.
We ask you to bless them in your love and give them refreshment and peace. Amen.

We end our prayer by making the Sign of the Cross.

All: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Today we will be having a whole school live Liturgy from our form rooms during lesson 3b,

to come together as a school to finish the year.

We look forward to seeing you all there (virtually).

It would be wrong to end the school year without some High School Musical.

Enjoy this clip then say the prayer below – share the paragraphs between your form.

Let us Pray together:

O God of all beginnings and endings,
we praise and thank you for the gift of this school year.
It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
with challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows.

The days have passed quickly, O Lord.
The weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days,
the exams, Liturgies, breaks, and assemblies,
all have come forth from your hand.

While we trust that your purposes have always been at work each day,
sometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate
your plan that you have for us all, help us to trust in you.

Give us the rest and refreshment we need this summer.
Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit.
Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion,
and bless us, according to your will,

With the fulfillment of our summer hopes and dreams.
Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead,
and guide us each day as you have done this past year.
Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy.

May we continue to grow
in age, wisdom, knowledge and grace
all the days of our lives.

Amen.

Enjoy the summer holidays everyone!

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all in September.

God bless.
