You might have heard this song before, but it’s so good that we just had to put it in! The song is called Testify and is by a band called NEEDTOBREATHE. Discipleship is all about witnessing Christ and then spreading that love and the word of God, and testifying to the truth and the Good News is exactly what we should do.

How can you spread the word of God? Think about how this might be your actions rather than actually talking about your faith!

A big part of being a disciple is knowing that you are forgiven and the ability to forgive others.  Take sometime to think about a time you have been forgiven for something, How did that make you feel?

As disciples it is our job to spread the Word of God, but this can feel like a difficult task when we are stuck inside at home. However, this is where those windows in your houses come in handy again! Why not create a poster with a prayer on, or talking about how you are praying for/thinking of everyone struggling at the moment? You can stick them in your window for everyone to see, and you never know how that might help somebody just when they need it most. This activity can be started during form-time and completed at home ready to stick to your windows.

What would you do verses what should you do.  As disciples we all have a conscience, that feeling of knowing what is right and what is wrong.  We all know, deep down what we should do.  Look at the scenarios below.  What should you do?

Sometimes we can have a knee-jerk reaction when we feel we have been wronged by someone, and think that an ‘eye-for-an-eye’ is the way to solve the situation. To help us learn to choose forgiveness, we need to focus on how to respond in an uncomfortable situations.

You just found out that your best friend has been telling everyone your deepest secret. What do you do?
 Everyone in class got invited to a party but you didn’t get an invitation. What do you do?
 You were playing a board game and lost your temper because you thought someone was cheating. What do you do?
 You are in the playground and your “Friend” keeps picking on you “jokingly” in front of everyone. While it’s upsetting you, they apologise. What do you do?
 Your classmate breaks your favourite headphones by accident and wants to apologise. What do you do?
