  • This week we think about our school community. Our community changes and grows all the time and every person who comes to our school brings something special and unique. How can you look out for those in our community who we sometimes overlook – how can we show them they are an important part of our school community?

MEDITATION

Start by getting in a comfortable position for YOU, not for anyone else, but for you. It is important to close your eyes, relax your shoulders, be aware of your inner core at work and reflect on the words that you are going to repeat. Pick a part of this prayer, repeat and reflect on it, saying it over and over again in your head. This phrase is called a MANTRA. See how it fits into your life.

Could community become a bigger part of your life?

How important are others to you?

How could you help others today?

Once you have done this, pray the full prayer. Start with a minute of meditation and build it up if you feel appropriate.

We end with the Sign of the Cross.
