Class 5 had a lot to say about their topic of Freedom and Responsibility! They told the story of Samantha and Daniel and performed a very convincing role play for the rest of the Class! They then split off into groups to prepare a drama and some raps, rhymes and songs for out Liturgy. They did an amazing job in such little time and they even had dance moves too!!
Year 1 had an afternoon thinking about saying sorry to our friends when we have made them sad. They sat down and wrote Friendship Rules and signed their names at the bottom to show that they promise to try to keep those rules. We ended by sharing in a lovely Liturgy together where they even shared a song that they had learnt about forgiveness and being sorry.
Class 3 were focusing on choices. We explored many stories in the Bible together and talked about the choices that had been made. We found good choices, like Mary saying yes when she was told that she was going to have a baby, and not so good choices, like Jonah who chose to ignore what God had asked him to do and therefore was swallowed by a whale!!
In Reception we discovered some fantastic actors and actresses. After talking about the story of the little man Zacchaeus who climbed a tree to see Jesus we acted out the story around the Classroom. Some fantastic camera girls took some photos of the scenes in the story so they are here to enjoy now. (Click on the images to enlarge them).
