On Tuesday morning we have gathered together as a Trust to celebrate the feast day of All Souls’ and November being the month of Remembrance.

If you missed it, you can view it back here:

Hopefully the Liturgy you were part of gave you time to reflect and think of those who are in heaven with Our Father.

Check out these activities below for you to complete as a group after the Liturgy.

This video explains a little bit more about today’s feast day:

In our liturgy today we thought about how God’s Kingdom in Heaven is like a house with many different rooms and everyone has a space in God’s house.

With the PowerPoint provided, spend some time reflecting on the questions. You might want to turn the lights off and light a candle if you have one.

You can either write your answers down or answer them in you head – there is not right or wrong answer, just what you think and feel.

Then with the printed outline of the house already provided by your staff, as a group complete this sheet. Add to the house all the people you want to pray for who are in heaven. It might be a family member, friend or people in our world who have lost their lives. (If you don’t have a printed copy, feel free to draw your own house!)

Once you have completed this stick the sheet up in your classroom to remind you to pray for these people, especially during this month of remembrance. Remember the words from the bible passage we heard in the Liturgy earlier:

“There are many rooms in my Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you.”

John 14:2
