It’s a really big week in our Diocese this week. on Friday the 3rd of July our Bishop Elect Mgr Patrick McKinney will be Installed at the 10th Bishop of Nottingham. We’re really excited about this new chapter in the life of our Diocese and we’re already looking forward to September for a special welcome mass with all the School in our Diocese coming together to meet our new Bishop for the first time!
It’s also a bit week in school too. We’ve got the elections for Senior Student and 6th form committee taking place – and we’ve got our 24 hour Lourdes fundraiser taking place on Thursday and Friday in the plaza (You’ll find out more about that later!)
With all that going on this wee’s word of the week is ‘Leadership!’ How can we lead and inspire others in the same way Jesus leads and inspires us? Think about what you can do this week to be a leader!
(Don’t forget Thursday’s is still PSHCE so check that out at the bottom of the page too!)

This week’s poll is going to look at our responsibility at 6th form students.
[total-poll id=7077]Over the week give each person a chance to vote and then on Friday have a look at the results!

Power always corrupts. Discuss!
Each day you’ll be able to see what other people are thinking in the other forms and have a chance to respond with your thoughts/comments. Come back to the discussion each morning if you can!

Each day when you’ve finished your discussion/activities spend a few moments in silence to think about the day ahead.
If anybody has anything or anyone they would lie to pray for then don’t be afraid to share this with everyone before your end your form time AoW.
You might even want to create a prayer box that you can put intentions into each week if you don’t feel like saying it out loud.
PSHCE
We begin with the Sign of the Cross
For our PSHCE this week we are continuing to look at how we look after ourselves and lead a healthy lifestyle.
This week using the Key Process of “Put Yourself on the Line” to debate the following statement
The government shouldn’t tell us what to eat and put limits on our diet.
Lord, help us to look after ourselves and stay healthy. Amen.
We finish with the Sign of the Cross
(On Thursday you can click above to reveal the PSHCE resources!)
