Stories of new beginnings are found everywhere in scripture. God even forms a new covenant (promise) with his people! Sometimes a new beginning is marked with a new name, just like St Bartholomew who is known as Nathaniel in The Bible. More importantly though, it’s the actions of a person that marks a new beginning. How will you make a new beginning in your life this week?

But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”
It takes courage to set yourself a goal to achieve. Often we are worried that we will fail. God has faith in you, we have faith in you. What are you going to achieve this year? Comments below 🙂
…we end our prayer with the sign of the cross
We start our prayer with the sign of the cross…
We are so lucky to have the youth service who support our Catholic life at school. Every week you will receive a resource which is called ‘Extra-ordo-nary’. This sheet will be in your registers every Monday, you must nominate someone every week to place this information on your form boards. This sheet is accompanied with a video which you will see later in that week.
This weeks video highlights what’s to come and the wonderful resources you can access from home. Although we won’t be live streaming the youth services shows in school, apart from ‘Extra-ordo-nary’, you can access all of the others at anytime. 🙂
Once you have watched the video, which has been filmed by Tom at the Briars, I would like you to consider this question: What have you done this week that took courage and bravery. Comments below 🙂
